Hi, I'm
Harry Wallbank
Self-taught software engineer. I build small, focused tools: bots, sites, backend services. I like shipping things that actually run in production, not just tutorials.
About
I'm a self-taught software engineer. No CS degree, just a habit of building things until they work, then making them better. That means I learn fast, I debug relentlessly, and I take real ownership. I don't just write code. I ship it, run it, and fix it when it breaks.
Everything on this site is real, not a mockup. There's a Discord bot serving actual users, a server I set up and manage myself, and interactive tools built on live third-party data. Getting those working meant solving problems that don't show up in a tutorial, like coordinate calibration and image proxying. If something breaks, I'm the one who finds out and fixes it, and that's the habit I'd bring to a team.
I'm looking for a role where I can keep building things people actually use, and keep learning by doing it.
